Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir sent Relief Material containing essential material as humanitarian aid for Kishtwar cloudburst victims.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina and J&K Seh-Prabhari Ashish Sood flagged off the truck containing the relief material. BJP Vice-Presidents S. Varinderjit Singh, Sham Lal Sharma & Yudhvir Sethi, General Secretaries Adv. Vibodh Gupta & Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, Headquarter Incharge Priya Sethi, Secretaries Arvind Gupta, DDC Chairman Bharat Bhushan DDC Members Suresh Sharma, Dharminder Kumar & Sharda Bhau, Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, Media Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Councillors Baldev Singh Billawaria & Neena Gupta, senior leader Jai Sharma and others were present on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina while speaking on the occasion expressed solidarity with all those who have suffered loss of near and dear ones as well as their homes and property in the recent cloudburst in Kishtwar. He said that BJP stands with the distressed families in this difficult hour and BJP cadre is working non-stop in the affected area minutely observing the gravity of the ground situation and taking appropriate measures. He said that many innocent lives have been lost and many are missing.
Raina added that honourable LG, Civil Administration, NDRF teams, Army, local people and other groups are contributing maximally in the relief measures. He said that BJP General Secretary Sunil Sharma is himself continuously engaged in between the people to have first-hand knowledge of the needs of affected people. He also said that office of Union Home Minister is also ensuring that every possible remedial measure is being taken.
BJP J&K has also collected and contributed essential commodities like ration items like flour, rice, sugar, oil, besides blankets, medicines and other daily use items like toothbrush, toothpaste, soaps, detergents and other eatables for the affected people with the help of party cadre and Civil society members, Raina said and added that BJP workers take it as their duty to help every person in distress in our vicinity as first humanitarian task.
